The Global Prayers research project examines the mobilization of the religious and its effect on urban life in the 21st century.
The Theme Days at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (February 23–26, 2012) bring together the different strands of scientific and artistic research and provide a forum for a large audience to discuss them in a variety of formats with the participation of international experts.
Guests include Brian Larkin, Filip de Boeck, Thomas Burkhalter, Helmut Draxler, among many others.
My audio essay "Echoes of Light and Darkness" will be presented during the opening night (Feb 23, 19h).
My multichannel soundscape composition "L'Amplification des Âmes" will be played on Friday Feb 24 at 18h30, as part of the 'Transnational Routes' Session.
